Role Summary:
As the Merchandising Art Director for INVIZ you will be instrumental in guiding the design and production of both softline and hardline merchandise. This role calls for a creative visionary who can collaborate with external partners and freelance designers to bring our products to life. A strong interest in science fiction, animation, and YouTube content is required. This position will be responsible for both hardline, softline and presentation designs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead the overall visual and artistic direction for our line of products.
- Collaborate with external partners and freelance talent to ensure designs meet our high standards and creative vision.
- Oversee the design process from concept to production, ensuring all products are innovative and align with the project's themes.
- Engage in hands-on design work for both softline (textiles, apparel) and hardline (toys, accessories) merchandise.
- Manage multiple project timelines and deliverables across various teams and partners.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a leadership role within art direction or product design, particularly in a merchandising environment.
- A strong portfolio showcasing expertise in both softline and hardline product design.
- Passionate about science fiction and animation, with a creative mindset to integrate these elements into product designs.
- Exceptional communication and project management skills.
Desirable Attributes:
- Degree in Art, Design, or a related field.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and other design software.
- Experience with brand-driven storytelling in a product context.
